En Jarana Beat estamos muy contentos, pues acabamos de culminar un trabajo sonoro donde se encontraron más de 55 músicos, artistas, ingenieros y diseñadores. El resultado es ‘Vibración por Simpatía’ un álbum triple que documenta, durante 7 años, el soundtrack de una comunidad que siembra y comparte sus tradiciones musicales en el Sur del Bronx, Nueva York.
At Jarana Beat we are very proud to have recorded an album where more than 55 musicians, artists, engineers and designers, met to create music. The result is “Vibración Por Simpatía” (Empathetic Vibrations), a triple album that has documented the soundtrack of a community for 7 years, and how they've nurtured and shared their traditions in the South Bronx, New York.
VPS es un homenaje a las nuevas comunidades Jaraneras en el mundo. Este disco nos incluye y nos representa, y ahora hace parte de nuestro acervo. A través de esta música seguimos resistiendo y abriendo espacios para preservar y disfrutar las tradiciones con las que nos identificamos. Darle play al disco es darle voz a nuestra comunidad migrante.
Jarana Beat pays homage to the new ‘Jaranero’ communities around the world with the album ‘Empathetic Vibrations’. This album includes us, it represents us, and now it is part of our cultural heritage. Through this music we continue to resist and open new spaces to preserve and enjoy the traditions that we identify with. Buying and streaming this album gives voice to our migrant community.
El paquete completo de VPS contiene 3 CD y un libro de 60 páginas con anotaciones y comentarios sobre la música y las culturas que la atraviesan, y también contiene las letras y acordes de los 3 movimientos: Tze Ollin, Ome Ollin y Yei Ollin. La compilación contiene 4 ilustraciones originales hechas por el reconocido artista colombiano Tobías Arboleda y el diseño de los formatos físicos y el libro fue a cargo del diseñador mexicano Martín Rodríguez.
The complete VPS package contains 3 CDs and a 60-page book with special annotations and comments about the music, culture, and lyrics and chords to each song in all 3 movements: Tze Ollin, Ome Ollin and Yei Ollin. The compilation contains 4 original illustrations made by the renowned Colombian artist Tobías Arboleda and the design of the physical formats and the book was done by the impecable Mexican designer Martín Rodríguez.

Creamos un libro de 120 páginas pensando especialmente para nuestra comunidad. El libro contiene anotaciones y comentarios sobre los ritmos documentados, las culturas que atraviesan las canciones, los artistas invitados, y la letra de cada canción con acordes para que nos acompañen con sus Jaranas.
We created a very special 120-page book for our community. The book contains special annotations and comments about the documented rhythms and music, featured artists and the lyrics and chords to the songs so you can accompany us with your 'jarana'.
